Site Update: Reader Profile

My former neighbor and still good friend Rick (for the uninitiated, he’s sometimes a subject in my blog. You’ll learn more about him in AMHL Glory), told me a few weeks ago that he was growing tired of the AMHL stories on this site. Although I try to rotate a fresh variety of topics—donuts, AMHL games and personalities, thoughts on the NHL—on to the virtual shelves of this site, I realize I can’t please every reader every time. (Sorry pal.)

But my buddy’s comments got me to thinking…I should get to know my readers’ interests better.

Since I started posting stories here in January, more than 1600 visits have been registered—from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Hong Kong , Germany, Portugal, etc.—have at least glanced at the stories. Most have stayed to read the short pieces and many have become repeat readers, loyal fans. Gotta love it!

Still, I’d like to know more about you. Please send me e-mail telling me what stories you enjoy most, didn’t understand, or just plain didn’t like. Or, take about ten seconds to complete the Reader Profile poll to the right, in between my profile and the AMHL links.

Thanks for taking the poll and thanks for reading!

Peace,

Jimmy
